Leprechauns and Angels

I have always been asked "how do you manage to always be so lucky?"

On the one hand I would like to believe that I am fortunate to have many angels (dead and alive) watching over me.  On the other hand, it just might be the luck of the Irish I inherited.  No matter where my luck stems from, I am very grateful to have it, as it has weathered me through many rough storms.

We all have angels watching over us but some of us do not acknowledge them and when we do not acknowledge them they eventually get fed-up and leave.

Put yourself in the wings (no shoes) of an angel and you go out of your way to help someone because that is what you are meant to and love to do and then that person totally disrespects your good-will.  What would you do?  Do you sit back and take the disrespect or do you do something about it?  I know I will do something about it, because if I did not, then it just means I open myself up to be disrespected again.

Angels are like that.  If you continue to acknowledge them and be grateful for their presence then they will stay and make sure that you will always have good come your way no matter how rough the storm.

Every nation in the world believes that there is good in humankind but yet as a world we cannot find it in ourselves to respect, tolerate, and acknowledge our differences in order to build and live in a peaceful society.  There are enough resources in this world that can be shared amongst all of us yet there are a few who feel that it is their right to own and control those who seemingly have nothing.

Once upon a time everyone was rich, until someone decided that in order to have respect they needed to be powerful.  So they "stole" a little everyday from their friends and soon they had no more friends but subjects who had to beg borrow and steal to get back what they had originally owned.

What respect is there in power when people have to live in fear of the one who claims to have the power?  At the end of the day, power is mind control.  As long as you allow someone to believe they have the power the more powerful they will feel.  Believe in yourself and know that you have the power to make the change you want to see in the world without having to fight for it.

Did I miss the point of where I started out on leprechauns and angels?  No.  The point here is that if we are all at peace with ourselves and grateful for what we have then we will all have good come our way and live in a peaceful society.

We are always talking about looking out for the future and that is all good and well but why struggle for a better future when we can make and see the change now.

So on these notes ask yourself the question - what am I doing to make my world a peaceful, harmonious place, not just for the future but for now?
